FAQ's

How long does it take until I receive my final video production?
From the time we shoot, approximately 3-12 weeks for final production. Many factors come into play such as where you are on the edit schedule, how detailed the editing might be (for example, an infomercial takes 10-14 days on average to edit) and how quickly you give us approval of your production.

What are the costs and how many cameras do I need?
The costs and number of cameramen vary, depending on the length, complexity, and type of production. Some shoots necessitate a three camera shoot.  Many can be shot utilizing one camera only.

Set a realistic budget and then let us begin to work on a magnificent production working within that budget.

How far will your crews travel in order to shoot and produce?

We are a nationwide and international production firm. We travel anywhere to get the job done!  We have crews based around the globe!  (Need a shoot in China?  No problem!)

Who does the writing?
We do, if you choose, working with you, your marketing department or ad agency or . . . if you prefer, you may submit already designed copy to us. It's your choice.

Where do we shoot?
Anywhere you tell us. Our crews travel and others are based in major cities throughout the world.  We shoot most anywhere!  We can shoot at your headquarters, a client site, your work environment, a factory, at the beach, all of the above - wherever you tell us.

(And for attorneys, we even have a courtroom in which to shoot your commercial or demo.)

Do you videotape weddings or mitzvahs?  How about Family Video? Corporate events?

Yes, we do it all. We videotape using one, two, or three cameras and include highlights of the evening and interviews of your guests, edited in with lovely graphics and music.  Photo montages, love stories, and family biographies or histories are available as well.

Why do you ask for a budget?

Contrary to what you may think, a budget is not so we can push expenses to the limit. Often, we issue a quote that is below budget! A budget lets us know from the outset what we can and cannot do for you.

For example, if you ask us to quote you on a half hour infomercial and you provide us with no budget numbers, you may be very unhappy with the quote you receive, as a long infomercial is not inexpensive.

If we know the parameters from the beginning, it saves us the exercise of quoting something that is completely outside of your marketing budget. It will head-off the let-down and frustration of thinking that your production is impossible.

The good news is that we can most likely work within your budget by brainstorming different cost-saving ideas!

How many people can be included in the piece?
That depends on the length of the video production and the length of the shoot.  A safe rule is up to three people on camera in a half day shoot (depending on travel time and distance between locations) and three to six in a full day shoot.

What is a half day and a full day shoot?
A half day shoot is 5 hours, portal to portal.

A full day is 10 hours from portal to portal.

In what format do I receive it?

We give it to you on DVD. A streaming CD can be provided for posting on your website. Other formats are available by request, as well.

Do you do animation?

Yes, we do.  We have some of the finest animators in the industry.  Our animators are skilled in everything from medical animation (which is extremely complex and detailed) to simple movement.

Can you shoot in Hi Def?

Yes, we can.

Can I order extra DVD's?

You sure can.  DVD duplication prices are based on volume.

How many times can I change things before I approve it?

You have up to three edit revisions within a reasonable time frame before submitting written approval of your video production. Once we have written approval, any changes beyond that are subject to editing charges.
